Torchwood House

Visiting

Torchwood House and Estate is open to the public between April and September but be advised that the upstairs rooms are currently closed, undergoing extensive renovations (due to be completed in 2008).

In 2006, the "House of History" exhibition was officially opened by HRH Prince Charles in the Old Dining Room. Using photographs, personal accounts and newspaper extracts, it charts the history of Torchwood House from its original construction through to its modern day reopening as a stately home.

A selection of interactive video kiosks are available, including "Sir George's Folly", "Victorian Star-Gazing" and "Torchwood House Through The Ages".
